About Eastwood Seam Sealer and Rust Encapsulator Kit

Apply Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator to any rusty areas before you apply the Brushable Seam Sealer. This will stop the rust from traveling.

Rust Encapsulator has been tested by an independent lab to be one of the most effective rust-preventive products yet. Rust Encapsulator is a great primer for floor pans and other underbody parts. It fills tiny pin-holes and surface irregularities, and is compatible with lacquer, enamel and urethane topcoats (including Eastwood Chassis Black). 1-quart can covers about 50 sq. ft., and contains no isocyanates. Heat-resistant up to 400 degreesF. Black color. Made in the USA.

Brushable Seam Sealer leaves a factory-like finish and remains flexible, so it won't crack, harden or sag. Seals cracks, crevices and body seams, and waterproofs and insulates too. Use on firewall and trunk seams, fender extensions, taillight openings, etc. Tack-dries in 15 minutes, air-dries in an hour. Paint over it in 40 minutes. Charcoal color.
