Ok, you asked for the review. After purchasing Evercoat metal to metal from Eastwood which failed miserably, I tried the USC All Metal product, it failed as well. Neither of these products will work when powder coating, when heated to less then the claimed 392 degrees temp ability, these products will bubble up and separate from the item being repaired. Both products were applied EXACTLY as the instructions say, every step and detail was adhered to, but neither product adhered to the motorcycle tanks being repaired, now they will have to be painted because nothing on the market today is capable of sticking to any project being powder coated. I had high hopes for the USC product but it failed, if I thought Eastwood would blame it on something I did I would request a refund for both of these falsely advertised products, but I don't hold it against Eastwood, they are just selling the stuff for the manufacturer, who is the ones ripping people off by claiming it will do something it won't. Very disappointed in both items.

Excellent product! Like always Eastwood products are good quality and easy to use and get professional results. This one is overpriced. I found the same product at the local auto body paint store 15.00 cheaper!!!!

When I opened the quart can I scooped up a big gob (1/3 can) and I saw that the rest was a solid mass. I used what I scooped and it was as advertised. Don't know what I would have if I had gotten complete mixture.

Been using this in restorations for a initial filler after welding and grinding patch panels. Sometimes a quick flip to fill a rust hole (used car special) 5 years later no bubbling or lifting. We never filler over patches without this for an initial base coat. 20 years using it and it's never let us down.

This is what the Eastwood tech guys told me to use for powder coat. It will not work! Not sure if the product sucks or if the guys at Eastwood don't know what they are talking about.

Eastwood Notes: As per USC the product can be powder coated if the film thickness is below 10 mil and the baking temps do not exceed 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Additional heat or film thickness could cause failure of the product. More info can be seen here: http://www.eastwood.com/images/pdf/50750_50751_product_sheet.pdf

I have been using this in restorations for years in the body shop. I do not recommend this being your final filler as it is porous to an extent, We have always used it after any metal patch or large repair is accomplished as a base layer for strength and rigidity. Once cured this stuff is rock hard compared to standard polyester fillers, but not brittle... Note though, after wiped and sanded let it sit for a day or so before applying other filler to this to make sure it has time to harden correctly. I would suggest using this on any area you have welded after it has been grinded and before plastic filler work. Outstanding product, been using for 15 years!

The product is easy to work with and is easy to sand once you figure out the right mixture. If you're looking for a filler better than bondo this is it. Highly recommened.

Great product for small areas, easy to apply and work with. After you figure out the product to hardener ratio it's much easier to apply and let dry. Highly recommended

This filler is versatile with respect to mixing and application especially if only small amounts are used at one time; ie golf ball sized. Sands and feathers well. Very easy to work, shape, and sand. Seems to sand best by hand. Takes primer and top coats well and doesn't seem to shrink in a few days like some fillers tend to do. I am working in temps at around 55 degrees so I allow about 4 hours before I attempt a sanding operation. I will purchase more within one or two days from now.
