nice aluminum engine paint not a dead ringer for aluminum but fairly close without the tacky shiny gloss you get from spray cans hardens like a rock but dries slow cant really work with painted parts for a day or so I would recommend this to anyone needing a durable aluminum finish on parts. well worth the money much cheaper than dupont! Also mixes and sprays very nice I used accuspray gun with 1.7 tip and was pleased with the results
paint drys to slow (Posted on 9/22/11)

I purchased the Chrysler "RB" turquoise engine paint and activator for a new motor I am putting together for my son's '72 Charger. The paint and activator worked perfectly, with excellent coverage. Once the paint was cured it was hard as nails, and cleans up perfectly after engine lube spills, etc. Most engine paint I have used in the past did not use a hardener and was subject to loss of gloss and binding power when fuels or oil spilled on it. This stuff is HARD! Additionally, the activator caused the paint to cure even in a cool shop (applied around 60 degrees). I recommend the use of the activator with the Eastwood engine paints.
