About 2K Ceramic Chassis Black Satin & Epoxy Primer Kit
Our own proprietary 2K Ceramic Chassis Black Satin is a super-durable coating that's not only beautiful, but it's tough as nails. This formulation imbeds finely ground ceramic particles into a high-quality 2K (2-component) 4:1 urethane base, making it highly chip- and chemical-resistant, UV-resistant, and easy to spray; dries quickly.
Eastwood's epoxy primer and catalyst work together to provide excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance while drying fast and maintaining good color hold out. Can be applied over steel, aluminum, fiberglass, body fillers and existing finishes. Primer is easy to sand 2-3 days after application.
PRE Painting Prep removes dirt, wax, polish, grease, silicone, buffing compound, even road tar, ensuring a clean surface that's ready for final painting or powder-coating.
Use this kit on full and partial frames, floor pans/undercarriages, suspension components, off-road and race vehicles, roll cages.

Easy to apply, Looks Great!

Honestly, for everything that comes with this, the cost is pretty cheap. Using the proper equipment and following the instructions, or even the provided video on the site, this was very easy to apply. It looks fantastic but only time will tell how well it holds up. For $100 you can make your frame look show quality. I only had a sub frame to paint so I have plenty left over for other parts to paint. You wouldn't think 1 qt of each would be enough, but this will cover a full frame with 2 coats of each, primer and paint.Value Quality Price -

I bouhgt this simply because of what it costs to get some aluminum suspension parts powdercoated.Price Value Quality
It was a better choice, since I have the necessary equipment to do the job properly.
I would not reccomend you to do this without the multiple prep work and right equipment.
The finish is great and durable. -
Bobcat Rollover cage

Review by Greg -
While restoring a 72 Camaro I decided to do something about the rusted finish I had on my Bobcat skid loader. I pulled the rool over protection off and blasted it clean followed by Eastwoods 2k ceramic black satin and epoxy primer. Wow, it came out like new and has held up really well especially when beating the machine up against trees. A great product.Quality Price Value
