    Details

Make easy flush repairs of different lengths with our 2-Pc. Panel Flanger Set Both adjustable locking panel flangers (or flanging pliers) produce a step deep enough for flush repairs in 18-gauge or thinner metal.
    • Panel Flanger creates straight or curved flanges 5/8" x 5/8"
    • Extra-Wide Panel Flanger works into corners or on long, straight sections, producing a flange 5/8" x 2-1/2"

About Panel Flanger Set Regular And Extra Wide

Our Panel Flanger Set includes both a standard and extra-wide flanger at a savings over individual pricing. The Standard Panel Flanger works best around curves. The Extra-Wide Panel Flanger works best for quick flanges on long, straight runs and in square corners.

For strong rivet repairs, clamp repair panel to the stepped area, drill 1/8" holes for rivets, and use our Dimpling Pliers (31089) before installing rivets to strengthen the joint and minimize filler. Use our Panel Holding System (19074) to hold panels together for welding.

Wide version works well for longer seams, the narrow version works OK but tends to leave a crease at the edge if working a longer area. The offset seems right for 18 gage metal but the offset between the jaws could be shorter to provide a sharper transition.

all the other reviews is what I based these on before buying. I don't know if it is eastwoods supplier who is making them but they are junk
far as quality goes. the jaws on both didn't match up, so they wouldn't produce a flange.
I had to modify them so they would work.
the machined parts or steps in them didn't line up. I tried calling east wood several times to try and get someone on tec support , never got a answer back. in the past I haven't had issues with eastwood or the products .
    come on guys really!!

Purchased these to use during a quarter skin installation on a '67 Camaro. The extra-wide flanger worked great for flanging the long upper flange needed to install the quarter skin. I got good use out of the regular flanger when it came to the curves and tight spaces at the rear of the quarter skin. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed with this Eastwood product because of my past experience with their products. I have their 135 Mig Welder & couldn't be happier with it.
Appears to be a very good product (Posted on 1/25/10)

I bought these items for when I work on my 53 F100 Hotrod truck in the near future. I have only used the regular flanger so far for one small piece and it did a good job. Won't get to the BIG project til spring, but think from what I have seen it will do the job.
