Impressive

I have tried a few rattle can versions of Ford Corporate and haven't been too impressed. I then tried two brands of spray on and found Eastwood to be about the closest to factory color. However, I said closest but not spot on as the color is "brighter" than original and definitely shinier. Personally, I prefer the look as it is very impressive and should be easy to keep clean. As far as application ... I mixed up a batch as per instructions and right away could see it was too thick to spray well. So, I thinned it down 10% and applied first coat but it was still too thick using my HVLP touchup gun. For the second coat, I took it to about 18% and that seemed to work well. Through all this I got a small sag trying to get the desired finish. (I hate orange peel) After a week or so, I sanded the sag and polished it out and now looks fantastic. If looking to dazzle, this is your paint.Quality Price Value -

I shot my transmission with this paint using the activator and it looks like it was powder coated. Very high gloss finish. Paint lays on real well and certainly does NOT look like a rattle can was used.Price Value Quality

I just used this ford Dark blue on my 351 & its amazing, I sprayed it with a touch up gun, I used the recomended activator. the paint flowed out so smooth I can literally see myself in the side of the block. Not 1 run or sag, thats great for me. I was going to use some cheap rattle can hi temp but decided to try this after all my hard work. Great product.Quality Price Value
