I have used this system for everything from removing mill scale from steel before welding to sharpening tungsten tig electrodes to polishing hardened steel aircraft tools. The ease of changing grits is excellent (except for the Scotchbrite bands which are somewhat tight). The slight "give" of the rubber wheel makes getting a smooth surface much easier than with hard grinding wheels. I highly recommend them, but feel they are a bit overpriced.Price Value Quality -

My project was refinishing chrome and aluminum trim on my 66 Ranchero. Tried doing it by hand and developed "refinishing elbow". Turned to Eastwood for a better solution and purchased the Expander Wheel plus bands. This tool saved me hours of work. I use mine on an existing bench grinder. One of the beauties of this tool is the ease of changing the band when you want to go up or down to the next grit. With the motor off the band simply slips off and the next one slips on. Its that simple and that fast. The Eastwood Expander Wheel is one great tool for the professional or the DIY'er. With several hours of usage under my belt I can honestly recommend this tool.Quality Price Value
