Value Quality Price I was unhappy with gun until I got used to it. If you use other guns in the past like I have (an older Devilbiss HVLP), practice once on a practice panel before shooting your vehicle.
In my opinion, I never realized how nice my 1000cc (33ish oz) cup was until I was unable to fit a full 32oz mix of paint. This left me stopping to refil my gun too often. They really need to offer a 1000cc cup. Just something to think about...
Another thing, I don't think the 1.2 and 1.4mm tips were a wise selection. Possibly be alright to shoot waterborne, I never have so... I feel it'd be better if they offered a 1.3/1.5mm combo, at least for the PPG material I spray. Like I say, I think it's geared more towards waterborne paints. Take this with a grain of salt as I'm far from a pro though, this is my opinion from my first useage.
All in all, it's a very nice gun for the money. Main selling point for me initially was the 4cfm consumption, as it barely stresses my medium sized compressor! Fit and finish is very nice, and many of the features are top notch. However, if I were to be browsing to buy another gun, I think I would go Devilbiss because of the 1000cc cup and 1.3/1.5/1.8mm needle selection. -

good gun for water based paints

Value Quality Price I used this gun with auto air colors with very good results. Sprayed pearls and metalics with no problems. Used with urathane clear and 1.4 tip. By thinning clear helped. No orange peel just a few runs. Great gun.

Price Value Quality Spray's good I shot ppg through it and it came out amazing the only thing that I'd change is I would offer 1.3 tip cause the clear was kinda hard too lay perfect but over all it was great cleans up really good and is super easy too set up two test shots and that thing was laying SUPER flat!

A great gun for the price

Value Quality Price I used this gun with my 17 gallon home compressor to paint a car this weekend. While the compressor did struggle to keep up, the paint quality from the gun was very good! I was surprised at the level of quality I was able to get with very little adjustment from the gun. I purchased the kit with the 1.8, 1.4 and 1.2 tips. I used the 1.8 for the primer and the 1.4 for base coat and clear, and I am very happy with the results. I was a little skeptical about this gun when I ordered it, but would not hesitate to recommend it to others now.

Great Gun

Price Value Quality For those that are compressor challenged I can't recommend this gun enough. Was skeptical how it would atomize paint at such low cfm requirements, but no worries, it works great..
Buy the larger tips if doing 2K primer, I used the 1.4 and it worked fine. The 1.2 would be fine for most bases and some clears.
Big thumbs up from me. -

Not bad
Review by Gene -
Price Value Quality They should make a 1.3/1.4 combo instead. 1.2 tip is good for waterborn paints only. 1.4 tip is great for pearls and metalics. If you know how to spray then you can make your paint job as good as if you are using higher end guns. For the money that I spent I am pleased.

Concours Quality
Review by Ken -
Value Quality Price I was a little skeptical about this gun. But after I recieved it and used it I realized just how well this gun works. Not only did it provide an excellent finish but, it saved some material also. I am impressed with how easy it was to dial in and get great results in just minutes. Thanks to Eastwood I recommend this gun as well as all of their products to my customers.
