Used this gun for the first time I purchased it to spray chasis and floor pains underbody parts to keep my high end guns protected was very surprised at the finish quality of the gun I think my compressor kicked on once during the whole process would recommend for any level painter

My first experience with HVLP and a good one.
I've sprayed polyester primer with the 1.8 tip and epoxy primer, sealer, and urethane enamel with the 1.4. I'm using a 35 yr old 3hp compressor with no problems.

I can't compare this to a high end gun like Iwata because I've never used one. For painting hobbyist cars like I'm doing, it's great.

This gun is the 4th spray gun I've owned, and the easiest to use. The results have been nothing short of phenominal with both single stage urethane and urethane primer. I'm now painting my project car (again) and look forward to using the gun, it's that good!

Highly recommend this product!

This is my first HVLP gun and I love it. Sprays beautifully, adjusts quick and easy, uses no air to speak of. I was amazed at how well it works. And the price great also.

I was a little skeptical about this gun. But after I recieved it and used it I realized just how well this gun works. Not only did it provide an excellent finish but, it saved some material also. I am impressed with how easy it was to dial in and get great results in just minutes. Thanks to Eastwood I recommend this gun as well as all of their products to my customers.

They should make a 1.3/1.4 combo instead. 1.2 tip is good for waterborn paints only. 1.4 tip is great for pearls and metalics. If you know how to spray then you can make your paint job as good as if you are using higher end guns. For the money that I spent I am pleased.

For those that are compressor challenged I can't recommend this gun enough. Was skeptical how it would atomize paint at such low cfm requirements, but no worries, it works great..
Buy the larger tips if doing 2K primer, I used the 1.4 and it worked fine. The 1.2 would be fine for most bases and some clears.
Big thumbs up from me.
A great gun for the price (Posted on 5/23/11)

I used this gun with my 17 gallon home compressor to paint a car this weekend. While the compressor did struggle to keep up, the paint quality from the gun was very good! I was surprised at the level of quality I was able to get with very little adjustment from the gun. I purchased the kit with the 1.8, 1.4 and 1.2 tips. I used the 1.8 for the primer and the 1.4 for base coat and clear, and I am very happy with the results. I was a little skeptical about this gun when I ordered it, but would not hesitate to recommend it to others now.

Spray's good I shot ppg through it and it came out amazing the only thing that I'd change is I would offer 1.3 tip cause the clear was kinda hard too lay perfect but over all it was great cleans up really good and is super easy too set up two test shots and that thing was laying SUPER flat!
