I'm not sure what reflective chrome is supposed to look like but I continue to be impressed with it. I've used it for numerous parts on motorcyles and decided to try doing a frame in it. It turned out great and is almost to shiny for by liking, but will be fine when all the parts are reinstalled.

I used this powder on a sheet metal cover and it came out real nice. I also did a set of alum. alloy wheels with a clean sandblasted surface and it came out more like a shiny pewter color. Any flaws in the substrate, no matter how small, will show through.
Good product. I have found many uses. (Posted on 9/25/12)

I restore motorcycles and have been using this powder to coat parts that can benefit from a little "pop". Examples are sprockets, bolts, and mounting hardware. My best description of the finish is that it looks like polished aluminum that has been cleared. It has a "haze" to it's chrome like finish. The posted pictures are very accurate. If you are looking for chrome go see a plater. I am very happy with the powder within it's limitations. I would like to see the price more in line with the rest of the powder line.

I used this powder on a suspension spring and I'm blown away by the result! From a few feet away it's almost impossible to distinguish from a real chrome plated spring. Up close the appearance looks like chrome that simply needs a wipe.
I also coated a valve cover with less spectacular results.in order for this powder to look good the object you're coating has to be PERFECTLY smooth. The valve cover has some rust pitting and it really shows.
    This is a GREAT product!

Not a bad item; if you're expecting 'chrome', you'll be disappointed, as the finished part looks like polished aluminum with a slightly milky clearcoat over it. This will show any flaws in the part, so prep is important. The only real issue I had was on cast/forged iron/steel parts, as the color came out darker and I had 'mottling' on a few parts. Looks very good on steel sheetmetal. Lots cheaper than plating, so it's worth a look.

I sand blasted 20 year old chrome plated springs, they were pitted and the chrome was flaking. While the result isn't as nice as the chrome finish it looks great. A very nice refinish option for your project, not show quality... great for road use tho!!!

This powder is easy to apply and cure. It provides a chrome-like finish which, to me. looks more like stainless than chrome. It is the closest to chrome that I have ever come in a durable finish. It iseems to hold up well in everyday use.
I am happy with this product, and would recommend it over any competitor's product.
