Only use eastwood powders and this one specifically has always been a problem. Items within a months time started chipping away. Items aren't motor parts or anything that gets heavy use, friction, or natural wear. Might just be a bad batch. All other colors are beyond excellent.

one of my most popular colors next to gloss black never had a issue with it. Always comes out perfect and is very forgiving when coating where if you get to much or if the part is not perfectly clean it still comes out perfect

I have the DIY hot coat powder coating system and the application process is very easy. Simply followed the provided instructions for a quality result. I have used this and other powder coating colors on many applications and varying metals and never been disappointed with the results. The flat is truly a zero gloss black and will match any semi to flat black application well. I am most impressed with the fact that all of the powder coatings look stock once completed.

The picture shows the throttle bracket that was powder coated. Used to be silver and the same color as the springs. I will be utilizing this to help clean up the engine in many more locations.
