About Hotcoat Powder Machine Gray

Hot Coat Blasted Steel Powder - This polyester powder cures to produce a medium silver wrinkle finish. Close in color to abrasive blasted steel. Cures at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes after flow out occurs (transitions from a dry powder to a liquid look).

Used this on some wheels and some intake runners. It's a nice light gray, I would call it 30% towards black. Leans slightly towards the blue spectrum (it's not blue).

I took the master cylinder out of my 1952 Ford F-8 to rebuild. Decided to clean it up. I knew how easy brake fluid would damage paint so I decided to coat it with this gray. Wow,nice shiny finish!!
