When applying keep a wet edge...you will have better adhesion and finish. Make sure surface temp is not too cold!

I was talked into using another product and it turned into a nightmare, had to strip, re sand, and re prep the surface. This product reduced 10% sprayed out perfect and has the factory correct finish. I wish I bought this in the first place it would of saved me hours of lost time and discouragement.

I have used several urethane products in the past and this one in a word is "Tender." Used three coats. I applied it over Eastwood epoxy primer (which worked great) but it has almost no adhesion strength. Chips and scuffs easier than hardware store rattle can paint. Save your money!

First time trying EW's Chassis Black.
I am a professional in restoring vehicles and my customer wanted a lower price product and I applied this and loved it. Drys fast, mixes great, and looks great. Apply a couple coats to darken up.

The paint applies fine, dries OK, touch it with a hard object and it comes right off. I expected a 2 part paint to be more scuff resistant than spraypaint.

I painted a model A frame with this product and would never use it again. The finish was to dull (it should have been satin). The paint starting setting up in the spray gun before I finished spraying the second coat (about 20 - 30 minutes). This product needs more work to make it usable. Not a good product! On the other hand the Extreme Chassis Black Satin has the right finish and works well.

As a coating, the product is exceptional. You have doubtlessly read the other reviews, the stuff works quite well and I believe it is a good value for the money.

Eastwood, on the other hand, can do better. The amount of time taken to process and ship my order was ridiculous. I just wish Amazon sold it, there is a company that understands customer service.

stirred and mixed what I needed and then reduced it 10% and it sprayed on nice and smooth. Did a rear motorcycle swing arm and a couple of wheels. Looking forward to seeing how durable it is

Painted my Model A frame with this product. It sprayed very nicely with no reducer added and turned out great. Happy with the product but not with the packaging. The cans had big dents in them making it very hard to mix the paint. The ceramic paint settles in the bottom of the can so it was quite a pain.

I used the gloss black over PPG epoxy primer. I first spayed my frame using 10% reducer. I used a Sharpe paint gun with a 1.6 tip. the overspray was excessive and left a rough almost silvery finish on parts of the frame. I sanded the frame with 320 grit and resprayed months later using more reducer this worked much better and left a nice finish. I used this paint because it claims to be chip resistant, it's not. This paint chips with the slightest contact with anything. I would not use it again, not worth the cost.
