Revolutionary Floor Jack Adapter-Now, You CAN lift Unibody vehicles with a conventional floor jack
Uni-body vehicles can't be safely lifted with conventional floor jacks - says who? With this Floor Jack Pad Adapter you can safely lift Uni body vehicles with a regular floor jack, without damaging pinch welds, misaligned body panels, or damaging suspension components. Adapter's U-channel lifts vehicles at the correct factory-designated lift points. Not Applicable for plastic parts. To use, simply remove the saddle insert from the floor jack and insert the pad adapter. Fits jack saddles with 1/2" or 1-1/8" holes (with bushing included). Altering Jack Adapter could cause damage.

contacts the pinch weld - NOT GOOD!!!!!!

I emailed and asked if this product would fit my car. The answer was yes. This adaptor is not deep enough to contact the car underbody above the pinch weld (2013 VW Golf TDI) The adaptor contacts the bottom of the pinch weld. This is not good since the pinch weld will be stressed at the bottom and eventually separate. The factory jack contacts the car underbody and places minimal stress on the pinch weld. I could use a 2x4 with the same effect. The adaptor is not worth the return postage so it is in my junk pile.Price Value Quality -

i have been looking for this tool for a while. order one was not to sure about the quality of the tool, it was more than i expected. so now i have five of them. one for my floor jack and one each for my four jack stands.had to drill a small hole into the plate of the stands. don't have to use cut-up 2x4s scraps on the stands any more sometimes the wood would break and add a little excitement to the car work.Quality Price Value -
