"I was VERY skeptical of Eastwood’s Brake Gray brake-fluid-resistant aerosol paint. Brake fluid is caustic and never sleeps! I’ve had brake fluid ruin catalyzed urethanes when it stays unnoticed from a drip or leak. It can break your heart and cause a ton of work in a repaint. I shot three medium coats onto a random metal piece, let it dry according to the instructions, and then dripped a half-ounce of DOT 3 brake fluid on the coating and waited. By day three the only sign I had that there was a brake fluid spill was a little bit of moisture and a slight white outline where the fluid used to be, which wiped off easily, leaving the paint intact and unaffected. This is amazing! Paint for master cylinders, firewalls, frame rails, brake lines and connectors, steering shafts, anything that is around or under a master cylinder in a car or truck is now protected! Wow! More and more we’re seeing high-tech paints come in the form of aerosol application, which is completely changing the stigma of the 'bomb can' and bringing it into the realm of 'professional' paint. 5 stars…this is an amazing product that does what it says it does."

I purchased this product for my master cylinder. It sprayed easy, covered excellent, dried without shedding gray paint on your hands. All indications are that this is a quality product, for $20 it better be.Value Quality Price
I don't mind spendin the money if it does what it says, so far so good. I wish they made it in black for the booster. -

High quality paint but the color is NOT gray but very shiny silver. Does not look like cast metal at all. I had to cover the paint with gray metallic which defeats the whole purpose.Price Value Quality -

Paint is excellent. A bit on the expensive side but worth it. PREP is most important for it to work the best.Quality Price Value -

Love Eastwood Paints. This one missed the mark. It's too silver. For a custom, it's great. For a purist, it's just the wrong color.Price Value Quality -

I bought this to coat my 1960 cadillac master cylinder and it worked great. The master cylinder was rusty, I clean it up and prep as stated on can. I then sprayed the brake grey and it went on smooth and dried fast. I used 3 coats and it has not rusted in over a month where as before with it untreated in rusted in a day. Protects against brake fluid and will use again.Price Value Quality -

To shiny silver to be gray.Price Value Quality
Sure it spay on well and it cover good but..
That Eastwood compares this to the spray gray is way over the top, I bought two cans from different batches and they are the same, totally wrong.
If you are looking for the gray cast look stay away from this one. -
Great Quality

I used the Brake Grey on my Calipers, Caliper Mounts along with the inner hub area of my rotors. The quality of the paint was great even from the aerosol can. I highly recommend this paint.Quality Price Value
