Not a great finished look...

Quality Price Value Put this on the transmission housing of my 68 Firebird... Looks like grey primer. No sheen or luster to this at all. I don't have a good recommendation for another product, but I know that I am not happy with the looks of this paint. You may consider another option.

I liked it

Value Quality Price I did my intake manifold with Aluma Blast and I thought the paint applied very nicely, and I like the satin look. It is not shiny, which was a plus for me. I prepped the manifold first to sanitary-clean to give the product the best chance for good results. I've not had it on the engine very long, so, hopefully it will hold up. So far... So good!

great stuff

Quality Price Value Duplicates raw cast Aluminum perfectly. To add different amounts of sheen you can spray "clear" over it. If you have scratched or gouged surfaces on your aluminum part all you need to do is fill, prime and Aluma Blast over it. No one will ever know it's a coating unless you tell them.

Quality Price Value Can't imagine why anyone would have any problem with this paint. It is just as described. Looks like brand new raw cast aluminum. Have used it on Transmission cases and Aluminum Intakes mainly, it's great paint and most accurate "aluminum look" I've ever ran across. Great stuff.

Price Value Quality Painted a transmission & intake, looks great. Very accurate representation of raw cast aluminum look. Beware overspray though, silver flecks everywhere.
