I had it a few days before I assembled it and started welding. One hour with some scraps and I set out to build a work table. A day later it was done.

I used .030 flux core and 1x1 16ga tubes. I have tons of things planned with this unit!

Shuts off early and often (Posted on 3/22/13)

Welds good when it is running. The problem is that it often shuts down, even after a few minutes of use on its lower settings, After about 20 minutes it will come back on and go a few more minutes. Luckily, I dont have a need to use it much!
I like it... (Posted on 3/18/13)

Took me a little time to get the money together to get the Argon bottle, but I definitely wanted to use it with welding gas. Working on a old truck and welding in bits and pieces. Got a dash welded in over the weekend and the welder worked great. I'm a little out of practice so they weren't the prettiest welds but the welder worked great, used a 10 spool of wire because I heard it would feed better. I can't comment on the small spool. But very happy with this purchase. Thanks for a great product Eastwood...

Recently purchased the Eastwood 135 mig welder and found it to be of equal quality or better to the Hobart and Lincoln migs of the same class. I have used both the Lincoln and Hobart at work and I feel the weld quality of this machine is just as good as the Lincoln and better than the Hobart. I only found a couple of things that could be improved, one being the drive motor is quite noisy and the other is the pressure roller arm is made of plastic. The only other item that needs addressed is the chart for setting wire speed and voltage does not cover. 030 fluxcore wire settings. All in all I would say that this is an excellent performing machine for the money.
