RECEIVED MY 135 ABOOUT A WEEK AGO. EASTWOOD HAS GREAT PACKAGING. 5 MIN. AFTER UNBOXING WENT RIGHT TO WORK. SO FAR I HAVE WELDED 24 GAUGE SHEET METAL UP TO 3/16 IN. PLATE. WELDER WORKS FLAWLESSLY. GREAT SUBSTUTE FOR MY OLD HOBART HANDLER 135. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE FOR THE CAPABILITIES OF THIS MACHINE.

I bought this welder about a month ago and as soon as I got it I tried it building a meat smoker. It just works great. The sheet metal I was using was pretty thin and I could really pin point the right amount of heat and wire speed to get a very good looking and strong weld.

Two weeks ago I replaced my rusted out fenders on my car and it also worked really well. I'm very satisfied with the adjustment, portability. The only thing that "broke" so far is the thin plastic cover where the labels are. I left the welder in my car for 2-3 hours and I guess it was too hot, the label warped, but no biggie, still 100% satisfied with the welding part.

Received welder with circuit board tray broken where 2 mount screws are supposed to go in from outside of the welder cover. Customer service nicely sent for the broken welder and sent me another welder to replace it. The second welder had the same issue as above, but only 1 screw hole was completely gone and the other was cracked. Also, the fan electronics metal mount was not secured, just dangling there by the wires. I gave up and got a refund after that. I never got to try either welder since they were both broken at the factory and put in the box anyway.

I own a landscaping company. This welder has never failed me. We use it daily for everything from patching in body panels on older trucks to frame repair. I originally bought this for doing some body work on an older truck but this unit has not let me down on any project. Unless you are a fabrication shop this is the perfect welder. I am very happy with this purchase.

Mine arrived in non-working condition. The torch would not feed wire. The plastic case on the torch was pinching the switch wiring, breaking continuity. It took a while to get someone to call me, but when they did, they told me they would send me a new torch. Without a good warranty, I'd be out a fistful of cash. Thanks for fixing the problem Eastwood.

Replaced a Lincoln welder with this one. Had trouble with the Lincoln after a couple years. Lincolns customer service is terrible, Using this welder to put a new floor in a 64 Ford Truck. It is a very good welder for the money. My 3d mig welder and the best and the least expensive. I've bought several things from Eastwood and they have good stuff.

I received my MIG 135 and went over it thoroughly before trying it...discovered a manufacturing flaw. The wire feed mechanism is held captive by two bolts that go through tabs punched into the chassis. The wire feed box was much narrower than the distance between the two tabs in the chassis....leaving one side flopping freely about with the provided screw too short to catch the tab. Dumb! I bought a longer screw and some washers to space it out, that fixed it right up (although I shouldn't have had to). The good news is that the welder has performed flawlessly both with gas and flux core. The wire feed is consistent, the arc is steady, and it has plenty of power for light projects. If you use the higher power levels though, especially with flux core, be sure to use a 20 amp circuit as it will blow the breaker on your 15 amp. Overall, good stuff and wood recommend it to anyone....just check it over before you fire it up.

This welder is an awesome value! I've used many different welders for many different jobs and this unit rocks! I needed a new 110v machine for my own personal use and did my research online comparing the "big 3" to this unit. In the end the Eastwood MIG135 had the most features, best warranty, and most competitive price. Now that I got it and used it, hands down it's the best deal! My favorite feature is the heat dial. Most comparable units only have a couple of settings instead of an adjustable dial. For $300 you can't go wrong!

This welder is the bomb! I had a 110v Lincoln (which I paid $450 for 10 years ago...) that finally crapped out. I did my online "consumer comparisons" and chose the Eastwood MIG135. Without actually touching the welder it's features and price was a better value than the competition. Now that I've got it and used it, there's no doubt. Honestly for $300 you can't go wrong! Now remember, this is no production welder, but for $300??? Wow! I'll be checking out more Eastwood tools in the near future!

Started welding right out of the box. Had not welded in years this machine made it so easy to get back into it. Very well compatible with other machines and cost alot less. Love this thing.
