Replaced a Lincoln welder with this one. Had trouble with the Lincoln after a couple years. Lincolns customer service is terrible, Using this welder to put a new floor in a 64 Ford Truck. It is a very good welder for the money. My 3d mig welder and the best and the least expensive. I've bought several things from Eastwood and they have good stuff.Price Value Quality -
Great price on a good welder

I received my MIG 135 and went over it thoroughly before trying it...discovered a manufacturing flaw. The wire feed mechanism is held captive by two bolts that go through tabs punched into the chassis. The wire feed box was much narrower than the distance between the two tabs in the chassis....leaving one side flopping freely about with the provided screw too short to catch the tab. Dumb! I bought a longer screw and some washers to space it out, that fixed it right up (although I shouldn't have had to). The good news is that the welder has performed flawlessly both with gas and flux core. The wire feed is consistent, the arc is steady, and it has plenty of power for light projects. If you use the higher power levels though, especially with flux core, be sure to use a 20 amp circuit as it will blow the breaker on your 15 amp. Overall, good stuff and wood recommend it to anyone....just check it over before you fire it up.Price Value Quality -

This welder is an awesome value! I've used many different welders for many different jobs and this unit rocks! I needed a new 110v machine for my own personal use and did my research online comparing the "big 3" to this unit. In the end the Eastwood MIG135 had the most features, best warranty, and most competitive price. Now that I got it and used it, hands down it's the best deal! My favorite feature is the heat dial. Most comparable units only have a couple of settings instead of an adjustable dial. For $300 you can't go wrong!Price Value Quality -

This welder is the bomb! I had a 110v Lincoln (which I paid $450 for 10 years ago...) that finally crapped out. I did my online "consumer comparisons" and chose the Eastwood MIG135. Without actually touching the welder it's features and price was a better value than the competition. Now that I've got it and used it, there's no doubt. Honestly for $300 you can't go wrong! Now remember, this is no production welder, but for $300??? Wow! I'll be checking out more Eastwood tools in the near future!Price Value Quality -

tried my new mig welder 135 for the first time this weekend. I am putting a new floorpan in my jeep. Started out great then the tip started slidinging on me and turned my job into a big tug of war. The tip won. I gave up. No qualms with the welder just the tip that came with it. I ordered a couple new tips today. Lets see what happens this weekend.Price Value Quality -

I wanted to upgrade to a better mig welder than the cheap one I had, but couldn't justify the $$ of a Millermatic, so I decided to believe the other 50 reviews and the demo video and try the 135.Price Value Quality
What I read was true. The thing works great. My first weld was beautiful. -

As far as the welder goes its unbeatable for the money. My review is more for customer service.Price Value Quality
Ordered my mig135 and it was promptly delivered by FedEx. However, FedEx left package on front step and some passerby liked it enough to snatch it up. Leaving me slightly annoyed to say the least. After a couple of phone calls and a little run around from FedEx I called Eastwood and lo and behold a person answered. Once they took over I received my 135 without any other delay. I am now a customer for life. Thank you -

I have stick welded for many years and am looking forward to MIG. Videos and price sold me on Eastwood's MIG 135 over Chicago Electric and Hobart brands. I ordered on Friday and it showed up the next day - FANTASTIC service!! Unfortunately the unit they shipped me was dead on arrival. The highest voltage setting it barely causes a spark. The wire turns red hot and but it doesn't weld. Yes, the electrical and gas connections are all correct - it's really pretty simple and would be difficult to mess up. I left a voice message for tech support but I don't blame them for not calling me back on the weekend. I'll deal with it tomorrow, on Monday. I'm sure Eastwood will make it right, it's just very disappointing - especially for my 16 yr. old son who had his first MIG project all ready to go. If I have to pay return shipping on to get this corpse back to Pottstown, I guarantee there will be sparks flying then!Price Value Quality -

I am a professional fabricator with 10+ yrs experience. This welder will cover just about all home projects you could throw it's way. But the gas system has some bugs, the first unit I got had no gas flow at all, the second worked for about a week then a gas solenoid causes free open flow. Although the company has held true to the warranty, and replaces the units free of charge it has become annoying. Hopefully the next will not have any bugs! Great product for the beginner!!Quality Price Value
