Bought the 135 because the price was right and the infinitely adjustable settings. No disappointment on the performance from exhaust tubing to 1/4" plate. Don't hesitate to buy one - you won't be sorry ! ( My only issue is that now it's $20 cheaper -the story of my life. )

Bought this on sale, got the cart with it at N/C which is almost a necessity. Even if you have to pay for it, get the cart - much easier to move the unit around where you need it, plus you'll have a spot to safely mount the gas bottle! Upon getting it set up, I could not get the wire to feed through. Double checked everything, emailed Eastwood customer service outlining my problem and a few days later I had a new drive motor unit in my hand. Had to install it myself (no big deal, detailed instructions included) and though I was disappointed that I had the problem at the outset, Eastwood customer service made it right very quickly. Didn't even have to return the old drive unit. Initially, I bought this welder so I could do sheet metal repair. Took some experimenting and practice, and I did my share of blow-thoughs but I think I've got it figured out now. The underhood patch job and hole-filling is done, with very good results. I really like this welder - especially the fact that the power and wire feed are infinitely adjustable. I've also found that the settings they give you in the manual for various gauges of metal are pretty much spot-on. All in all, a very good value and easy to use. Although I do hope you won't need it, the customer service is very good as well; fast and painless. Thanks, Eastwood - you've just made my restoration project a lot easier!

I purchased the 135 and after 5 weeks finaly get to use one. My first welder the drive for wire was broken. Eastwood support was good to work with. As the sent me replacement drive moter with no directions at all to install. It is not hard to figure it out but directions would sure save time. At this point as I took the moter out found more broken parts. This is when I called and they shipped a new one right out and I still waiting for old one to be picked up. The new one was slow to get going and working right. I did find the chart to be way off from the way this new one works. I have been welding for years as auto hobby. I just don't think the new one is set up quite right from the factory. I did have to try many times to get setting working good. The welds are great and is working well so far. I did lose @ 5 weeks waiting to get one here and set up. The service is great and the people do great job so am happy with that part and sugest everyone do business with Eastwood great products and service.

needed a smaller welder for light fab work, watched the video and read the reviews so I decided to buy one, without cart, built my own! the welder works great not as refined as the big named ones but it does a nice job on anything up to 1/8 inch. great welder for a home hobbyist!

I've just completed setting up the cart and the welder. The hole in the included 0.6mm welding tip was not drilled all the way through. Some of the setup instructions for the welder referenced the wrong item in the figures.

The cart setup was excellent. The hardware included plenty of spare parts. The directions were clear and correct. There was an extra bracket included without an explanation of what it was for. I guessed that it was to bolt to the top shelf to keep the welder from sliding all the way to the back of the shelf and interfering with the gas bottle.

Now I need to get a gas bottle (or some flux-core wire) and find a new .023" (0.6mm) tip that is drilled all the way through.

I'll try to update the review once I've tested the welder.

Very impressed with this welder. I was drawn towards it because of the infinite adjustment and then the price. I like it much more than the millermatic 140 which is more than double the price for the same features.
