My 15 year old astro went t---s up with plastic breaking etc. It lived a full life of limited use just let me down at a bad time. I was never fond of it. with only 4 heat positions I could never fine tune it. after looking hard I found this one. I got it in the middle of the polar express so it sat in the basement after assembly, which goes smooth if you deburr your welding wire for a smooth feed. The first day in the 40"s it moved to the garage and had the bottle attached I am impressed with the regulator and plumbing. I followed instructions and recommended settings for 1/8" turned it on pulled the trigger and heard exactly the sound I was hoping for. It did everything I tried perfectly. I love my new welder, it is a lot more machine than the price would indicate.

I am an amateur at welding and could not be more pleased with the ease of assembling and using this welder. The instructions were very informative and easy to understand, I was welding within an hour of receiving the welder. A buddy of mine has a Lincoln and they seem identical at 1/2 the price. With the Christmas special and free shipping you cant beat it. Thank you Eastwood,

Nice welder, but cart sucks (Posted on 12/31/13)

My only disappointment is the cart. The tank blocks the gas intake on the welder and the chains are worthless to hold the gas tank. Also, as other people wrote about, the door on the welder is blocked by the lip on the cart. You have to lift the welder out to open the door. I asked the salesperson if they fixed that problem and the answer was it's fixed. WRONG! The unit is top heavy and you have to be careful when moving the unit. One thing, I now have a welder so I can fab this cart so it will work as it should.

I researched all mig welders. After reading reviews I settled on this machine the price was just to good to pass up. Free shipping on top of that. I expected to get it in a few weeks but got it delivered in 3 days. Out of the box welded perfect just need to play with heat and speed to fine tune it. I used name brand prior to this and this welder laid a perfect bead. You won't regret the purchase I just wish I would have spent the extra money and got the 175 for more welding options.

I've had this welder for a couple of months now and have used it to fix my John Deere 450 loader form time to time. Used flux core at first, have switched to gas now welds much better. Anyone purchasing one of these I would recommend you get the MIG135 Knurled Drive Roller (Key Way Style) — 14113. The wire slips and jerks with the one supplied, other than that it's a very nice welder for the money

I am not a professional welder, but I do repair work on my cars to save a dollares. I have two toyota prius and have previously used the welding machine and tools freight harbor is the difference really is in the evening to the morning.
The machine Eastwood MIG Welder 135 Amp is fantastic and very good for anyone who is not an expert. I recommend it to everyone. Welding is very good as it appears on the video. If you buy the Eastwood MIG Spot Weld Kit excencial is a great addition for anyone who does body shop.
