Great Value...Outstanding Welder (Posted on 6/24/2013)
    Review by Alan
I originally purchased a used Mig welder (Clarke) to weld some patch panels on a old truck I am restoring. The welder gave me nothing but problems so I did some research and ordered the Mig 135 from Eastwood and it does an amazing job. I had never welded with a mig welder prior to the used one and it had been 35 years since I had done any welding to speak of. But once the Eastwood Mig 135 arrived I was welding nice looking beads again with little practice. The build quality of the Eastwood is very good and the three year warranty gives me piece of mind. Those coupled with the low price makes this one of the best Mig Welding values out there!

Never used MIG before, needed for a project so after setting it up according to the manual and this unit work flawlessly. Not the prettiest weld the first go around but weld good together.
Not a name brand but all the right stuff (Posted on 6/5/2013)

I bought this welder to weld sheet metal only. My current welder works great but since the heat settings can only be set in steps, it made it very difficult to weld thin gauge metal. The only way to get a infinite heat setting was much more costly on name brand welders. I didn't expect a whole lot for the price of this welder and I have to say you can tell it's not as nice as a high end unit (china knock off). However it does have all the features you would need in a much pricier unit and it does everything I need it to do on thin sheet metal. VERY HAPPY with the results and I have used it for about a month.

My last welder was a 100 Lincoln welder..I am very happy with the Eastwood 135 welder. It has plenty of power and easy to use. I am using it to build my next streetrod, which will be sectioned and channeled...the welder will be perfect to weld the thin metal back together. Thanks again for producing a great product!

I purchased this unit for body patch repairs. I am a mig novice so for my first repair I was concerned with burn thru. I was amazed with the ease of my spot welds and with following fill in, and no burn thru. It is a pro repair, I wish I had this welder years ago.
    great machine (Posted on 5/14/2013)

I have welded professionally with both Lincolns and Millers and in my opinion the Eastwood MIG 135 performs just as well as any machine at 2x or 3x the cost... the only thing I wish they would change or at least offer a replacement wire feed mechanism out of metal or thicker plastic I feel wish heavier use it may fail but I'm not too concerned because of the solid 3yr warranty they have.
    Great welder (Posted on 4/29/2013)

Don't be fooled by the price. This is a great value welder. I am on my second 10lb spool in a short time. It has ran it flawlessly. I used Hobart wire the first time with good results but switched to Lincoln wire and it got better. I am currently using flux core wire because I'm welding a lot outside. I would not be afraid to suggest this to a friend. I also have a Lincoln and it welds pretty much the same. I cannot speak for long term life because I've only had it a couple weeks but so far so good.
better than Eastwood says it is (Posted on 4/23/2013)
