I bought the 135 last winter, and I am now just getting started using it. Bought a cheap cheap and decided to put the welder to use. It works great. I have used just flux-core so far, but I am looking forward to buying a bottle and getting started on my mustang. I have never really welded before and this thing is great.

My friends flaked with their tools so i ordered this AWESOME welder. It came with a small spool of wire. Be sure that you read the instructions and set it up correctly or you will end up like the very few people who gave this a bad review and cant seem to get the welder to work for them. Those are the same guys who get lost and refuse to ask for directions. I got a large spool of wire and a tank of gas and set it up as directed and i was able to make beautiful beads. Now i am nearly 40 and i learned to weld in High school so that was long ago. And i haven't touched one sense. My goal was to build a entry level race car. It turned out great and this tool was a key piece of my success. Currently the car i built is second fastest in its class.

Bought the 135 to work on my 66 Mustang restoration. Has been about 10 yrs since I welded and was a bit nervous. I plugged it in, ran a few test beads, and was off working on the car. This machine brought back my confidence. Never used flux wire, went right to gas. Set-up was super easy and the machine operates perfectly. Only complaint I have is length of the power cord. My car is on jack stands and the cord isn't long enough to move around and still have it plugged in. I had to make my own 15' 8ga extension cord (which I was told by an EW tech was ok) and it works fine. Don't pass this by. Eastwood hit a home run with this one!

Recieved my 135 Mig faster then expected!
Was in a hurry to set it up and get it going as I had to leave town and my son needed that night.
Set up was a no brainer, very easy and quick.
Welder showed up in a very well package box with no damage.
When I plugged unit it, it would not go on, as in no power to anything. No fuse/breaker problem, not an issue on my end (checked all outlets for AC).
Called and emailed Eastwood, email would not go through, and no live person on the phone and no clall back to date. As I had to get this up and going, pulled the cover off and found on of the main wires to the switch had come dislodged in shipping. Plugged it in and away we went. WORKED awsume! better then expected. Alittle hicup in the beginning, but a great machine for the value!

I was a little skeptical bought this badboy last year, I figured it was priced too low, but My brother owns a lincoln 140 and a miller matic and ther is no difference in weld quality whatsoever, The accessories like the gun and regulator are a little cheap Ive returned them already with no hassles and got replacments, but the machine itself you cannot go wrong, I did a frame off restoration on my 1958 plymouth , I replaced the floors , trunk floor inner/outer rocker panles and much more ,welded her all up with this little machine, will lay down strong welds, beautiful beads the metal around it will break before the welds do if your experienced or have some practice, will weld 18 guage sheetmetal all day long, welds thicker stuff easily as well, easy to use. again if your on a budget like myself you cannot go wrong you arent getting any less welder than a hobart or licoln for the price, mine is still in my garage kicking butt!

RECEIVED MY 135 ABOOUT A WEEK AGO. EASTWOOD HAS GREAT PACKAGING. 5 MIN. AFTER UNBOXING WENT RIGHT TO WORK. SO FAR I HAVE WELDED 24 GAUGE SHEET METAL UP TO 3/16 IN. PLATE. WELDER WORKS FLAWLESSLY. GREAT SUBSTUTE FOR MY OLD HOBART HANDLER 135. CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE FOR THE CAPABILITIES OF THIS MACHINE.

I bought this welder about a month ago and as soon as I got it I tried it building a meat smoker. It just works great. The sheet metal I was using was pretty thin and I could really pin point the right amount of heat and wire speed to get a very good looking and strong weld.

Two weeks ago I replaced my rusted out fenders on my car and it also worked really well. I'm very satisfied with the adjustment, portability. The only thing that "broke" so far is the thin plastic cover where the labels are. I left the welder in my car for 2-3 hours and I guess it was too hot, the label warped, but no biggie, still 100% satisfied with the welding part.
