Works as advertized, no problems, no glitches. Great Value for home use.
Good First Welder (Posted on 10/7/2013)
    Review by Rob
Great price when looking around. It was ordered and delivered within the same week - great response. I used the videos to set the unit up and all was well except feeding the wire into the actual welding cable. I had a bit of a challenge getting it setup (it felt like there was a little lip that was causing the wire to hang up - the auto feed wouldn't work). After some trial and error I finally got it setup and I was off and running/welding. I ran some practice beads on an old muffler since I was doing some minor auto body work. That same weekend I had the panels fixed. I recommend getting a welding helmet (holding the hand held face shield and steadying the gun is less than desirable).

I sent an email the following week about the difficulty in feeding the wire, and haven't heard back from them (it's been two weeks now). I do look forward to a few more projects that aren't so sensitive to heat and feed rate. It should be fun. I think this is a good first welder for almost anyone.
    Horrible (Posted on 9/29/2013)
    Review by Timothy
When I first received the mig 135 the wire feed didn't work. Set me back on a project. Got the new motor in a week. The motor fed wire well. I didn't have time to mess with anything else.

Finally 3 weeks later I had time set aside to weld up my bumper... Well it doesn't work. Temp control does nothing. Even on highest setting it won't burn through 1/8 metal.

Waiting to see if they make tis right but do to my work schedule it will be another month till I have time to work on it..

2 months to build a bumper... Hours of my time wasted... Thank you eastwood!
Best bang for your buck (Posted on 8/29/2013)
    Review by Joshua
Easy to use, great on sheet metal, user friendly, rugged for years of use. My only negative point is that it would be nice if this welder was a little more powerful so someone could weld brackets to frames, etc. If that were to happen I would give this welder a Solid 5 stars.
Good quality mig welder (Posted on 8/17/2013)
    Review by Quincy
I'm quite impressed with this mig welder, when I took it out of the box the first thing I noticed was the great build quality of the unit. It has an unlimited wire speed and voltage setting capability which came quite in handy while I was using flux-core wire to weld an art project. I was able to get the voltage and wire speed right where I wanted it. I was considering buying a Lincoln but to be frank, your paying that extra 2-3 hundred bucks for the brand name, an Eastwood will weld just as fine as a Lincoln. I chose an Eastwood welder because the build quality was good and it was at a reasonable price let alone the THREE year warranty on this bad boy.

Works better than I could have imagined. I was making quality welds immediately and with some practice my welds looked like the demo videos in the Eastwood site. I highly recommend.
one tuff rig (Posted on 7/10/2013)
    Review by matt
I was very impressed with this welders capability considering it's size. I've been running it with the gas less flux core and am happy with its performance. For the price this is one tuff rig.
Great Welder But Horrible Customer Service (Posted on 7/1/2013)
    Review by Matt
I bought this welder on Saturday 6/1/13. Surprisingly shipping was extremely quick. Even though they are located in PA there is a shipping department less than 10 miles from me so I received my welder in only a couple business days. The welder I got was broken though. I would let off the trigger and another 6-12" of wire would continue to spool as well as no wire speed adjustment at all. It was on max speed regardless of where the dial was adjusted to. After it took me 2-3 days of calling them every hour and sending them an email I finally got pushed through and they told me they would send me a new part that day. According to FedEX records it took them 1 week to drop the replacement part off and another week for FedEX to get the part to me. Finally after 2 weeks the part arrived and still didn't fix the problem so I managed to get ahold of them again to swap out the welder. The lady on the phone said that I could not drop the welder off but they had to have a FedEX drive come pick it up. Being a normal person I work every day so I told her to send the FedEX guy to my work address on Thursday 6/27/13. That afternoon I got a call from somebody in my house telling me that FedEX was there waiting for me. So I lugged this welder up 4 flights of stairs for nothing. I emailed Eastwood that day extremely frustrated asking for a call or an email as soon as possible. I still have yet to receive a reply from them. However the person at my house talked to the FedEX driver to schedule a pickup the next day and the person at my house had to change his daily plans for me to get the welder to them. Finally Saturday I received the new welder shipped from the local Eastwood shipping center as soon as FedEX picked up my broken one and that welder now works great. I have no issues with it so far and the bead it lays down is comparable to the Hobart Handler 135 that I am used to using. So far I am happy with the new welder but the customer service could use some major refinements. I was on the verge of giving up and byuing the $200 more Hobart.
"BAD ASS" right out of the box. (Posted on 6/29/2013)
    Review by Bruno
I'm still kind of new with a mig machine I'm a stick welder my self. I have had & used a Lincoln handy mig for about a year or so but its not 1/2 the machine the EASTWOOD 135 is. ITS "BAD ASS" right out of the box. I've been welding/fabricating on & off for 10+ years but this mig 135 is by far one of the most smoothest machines to operate that I've ever used. In short EASTWOOD you hit the nail head with these mig machines. THE US NEEDS MORE JOBS DONE RIGHT,Thanks a bunch for being here. Kevin (Bruno) Reed
