I researched all mig welders. After reading reviews I settled on this machine the price was just to good to pass up. Free shipping on top of that. I expected to get it in a few weeks but got it delivered in 3 days. Out of the box welded perfect just need to play with heat and speed to fine tune it. I used name brand prior to this and this welder laid a perfect bead. You won't regret the purchase I just wish I would have spent the extra money and got the 175 for more welding options.

I've had this welder for a couple of months now and have used it to fix my John Deere 450 loader form time to time. Used flux core at first, have switched to gas now welds much better. Anyone purchasing one of these I would recommend you get the MIG135 Knurled Drive Roller (Key Way Style) — 14113. The wire slips and jerks with the one supplied, other than that it's a very nice welder for the money

I am not a professional welder, but I do repair work on my cars to save a dollares. I have two toyota prius and have previously used the welding machine and tools freight harbor is the difference really is in the evening to the morning.
The machine Eastwood MIG Welder 135 Amp is fantastic and very good for anyone who is not an expert. I recommend it to everyone. Welding is very good as it appears on the video. If you buy the Eastwood MIG Spot Weld Kit excencial is a great addition for anyone who does body shop.

Great price when looking around. It was ordered and delivered within the same week - great response. I used the videos to set the unit up and all was well except feeding the wire into the actual welding cable. I had a bit of a challenge getting it setup (it felt like there was a little lip that was causing the wire to hang up - the auto feed wouldn't work). After some trial and error I finally got it setup and I was off and running/welding. I ran some practice beads on an old muffler since I was doing some minor auto body work. That same weekend I had the panels fixed. I recommend getting a welding helmet (holding the hand held face shield and steadying the gun is less than desirable).

I sent an email the following week about the difficulty in feeding the wire, and haven't heard back from them (it's been two weeks now). I do look forward to a few more projects that aren't so sensitive to heat and feed rate. It should be fun. I think this is a good first welder for almost anyone.

When I first received the mig 135 the wire feed didn't work. Set me back on a project. Got the new motor in a week. The motor fed wire well. I didn't have time to mess with anything else.

Finally 3 weeks later I had time set aside to weld up my bumper... Well it doesn't work. Temp control does nothing. Even on highest setting it won't burn through 1/8 metal.

Waiting to see if they make tis right but do to my work schedule it will be another month till I have time to work on it..

2 months to build a bumper... Hours of my time wasted... Thank you eastwood!

Easy to use, great on sheet metal, user friendly, rugged for years of use. My only negative point is that it would be nice if this welder was a little more powerful so someone could weld brackets to frames, etc. If that were to happen I would give this welder a Solid 5 stars.

I'm quite impressed with this mig welder, when I took it out of the box the first thing I noticed was the great build quality of the unit. It has an unlimited wire speed and voltage setting capability which came quite in handy while I was using flux-core wire to weld an art project. I was able to get the voltage and wire speed right where I wanted it. I was considering buying a Lincoln but to be frank, your paying that extra 2-3 hundred bucks for the brand name, an Eastwood will weld just as fine as a Lincoln. I chose an Eastwood welder because the build quality was good and it was at a reasonable price let alone the THREE year warranty on this bad boy.
