THE WELDER: This MIG welder the best buy for the buck. After reading many reviews I pulled the trigger on this combo and I am glad I did. It does exactly as promised. It came packaged well, and the DVD that came with it made it easy to assemble. The infinite adjustment of AMP and Wirespeed is so nice to dial things in perfectly.Price Value Quality
THE CART: After reading some bad reviews I was worried about this cart. I have had zero problems with my cart. I have a 80CFM cylinder on the cart with plenty of clearence.
THE HELMET: Works well.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Money well spent.

I'm pleased with this unit. I'm using it for body panel replacements, typically 16 & 18 gauge sheet metal. I also played around with 3/16" plate to test the penetration capabilities. With .025" wire I would say 3/16" is the thickest you could go with decent penetration. Thicker dia wire might achieve deeper penetration results.Price Value Quality
I agree with the statement about the lower tank chain. It's too close to the bottom of the cart to be effective. I had a minor alignment problem with the top tray and back panel. The corner bends were line to line so I had to force the top tray into the back panel. Not a big issue, just annoying. I do not have an issue with the gas fitting in the back of the unit because I'm using a small tank. However I could see it becoming an issue with taller tanks. Fitting protrudes straight out from unit. An elbow would mitigate any interference with a tall tank.
Absolutely get yourself an auto darkening helmet. I love the one I got with the kit. A little flimsy but it works well for now. -
great for beginners and automotive restoration

Novice welder, but watched a couple of videos & a half hour later was able to do some effective patching on my frame. Having fun getting the hang of it. Gun leads could be a little longer, they are just barely long enough. Cart top sides are too tall as you can't open side door without picking welder up,tilting it over, or putting a 1/2" shim underneath the welder, which is what I did. Really liked the Auto-Darkening Helmet.Price Value Quality -

we are a little recycling cooperative; we needed a welder with quick learning slope...this has been a real jewel first day; out of the box everything set up within 20 minutes...very easily we welded a broken wheel barrow 3 racks for tires and a cage for the pick up...3 spool of 2 lb of flux core passed trough the machine without a hitch and the beads looks just fine but i just can't wait to see what it will be able to do with gas...soon! A french Merci for Eastwood!Value Quality Price -

I bought this welder During the Christmas sale, was a great price and all. Have had a chance to use it restoring my '51 Willys Wagon. However the gas nozzle fell apart and disapeared... now welder is useless till the new parts arrive... The brass center section separated from the outer, poorly cemented... Order extra gas nozzlesValue Quality Price
Eastwood notes: Tips can tend to separate from from extended exposure to high heat when welding, no matter the brand. But we will definitely pull a few of our nozzles to test! -
Great out the box welder

I recieved the kit a few days ago. I welded with it today and was impressed with the bead. I set the controls by feel and went to it. I think it is a great value to get everything except the gas at one time. I knew the cart would be what it is. I don't know why this cart continues to be sold when it obviously does not fit the welder but I can make it work. I am very pleased with my purchase and I expect to be pleased for years to come.Value Quality Price -

I got the welder a week ago, I found that the gas inlet comes out where the argon bottle sits. i made up some wood apacers that moved the bottle away from the welder. the welder did a nice job on some scrap steel, on to fixing my truck. the welder does a nice job, the helmet is good, nice cart. you guys could move the gas inlet over, that would solve the hose problem. I wanted to buy a made in the usa welder, but at half the price, with a 3 year warranty.. what the hell. I hope your warranry is as go as this welder seams to be.Price Value Quality -

I was surprised that this welder, welds as well as it does. Does everything I need it to do plus more. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a portable welder. The only reason I gave the price 4 stars, is because the cart is not made for the welder and the cart is a bit pricey for what it is.Value Quality Price -
