The cart is the only reason for 4 stars in quality. It is flimsy and does not fit a large gas tank and does not allow the access panel to openwhen built as per instructions. I installed the top shelf upside down, ground off the top of the upright supports, added 3" of steel to the rear and added a layer of plywood to the top of the shelf in order to gain clearance to set a tank in the rear and secure the welder to the cart with easy access to change wire spools. The welder works great and the accessories are a good deal. The tip lead and the power cord could be longer but luckily I have a 100' extension cord that works well with it.Quality Price Value -

I got my welder on Wednesday and Argon tank Friday. I didn't have a chance to use it until this weekend. All I can say is I love it already. I used flux wire for steel and ran some beads. Had to play with the settings a bit like turning up the amps and turning down the wire speed. Eventually I got good beads and good penetration on butt welds. Swapped out the MIG gun and put in the spool gun. It was a lot of fun to use and was very happy when I got the hang of it. Cart is a little bad but the helmet is great. Wish the gun and clamp were a bit longer but I needed to make an adapter/extension cord anyway so that gives me the length I need.Value Quality Price -

I just bought the mig 175 today. After some modifications to the cart to allow the welders side cover to open, I was almost ready to weld.Price Value Quality
I bought a roll of Flux cord wire and away I went.
The machine works very smoothly. Good penetration. I see no reason to spend twice as much for a Miller or Lincoln. I hope to get a gas bottle for the mig and also some 100% argon to try the spool gun on some aluminum. Over all a great buy, but the cart is so so at best. The may be made in China, but what isn't these days!! I'll bet miller and Lincoln has non USA parts, so save you money and buy the Eastwood. -

I bought this welder from Eastwood and the first one was defective and Eastwood sent me a return slip the next day and I had a new one in 4 days. This baby is a perfect welder for almost everybody. I haven't mastered the Aluminum welding yet but the MIG part it awesome! I highly recommend it.Value Quality Price -

Quality of welds seems to be good. Helmet is awesome. Spool gun works great. Ground and whip are a bit short, national brands have 10' instead of 6'. China made cart is a bit cheap, I recommend flipping the top shelf over and bolting the welder to it. Otherwise you have to lift the welder up to get the door open all the time. Consumables are standard tweco style and easy to find, not like hobart or snap-on welders. So far so good, will update after a while.Quality Price Value -

Have welded with machines from many of the major name brands. This little mig does a great job. Have used it to weld steel and aluminum with great results. Lots of machine for the money. Would buy again.Price Value Quality -

I was a bit apprehensive at first about having the welder and equipment shipped to Puerto Rico. Even with the steep cost of shipping I feel I got a good deal. Everything is more expensive on the Island. Although I haven't tried the spool gun yet, everything else seems to work to my satisfaction. Yes the cart needs some modification in order to provide efficient service but it was nothing that eight drill holes and a little savvy didn't cure. I am a beginner and hope to perfect my skills with this machine. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.Price Value Quality -

Have not had a chance to use the Mig gun yet ,But I did use the spool gun on some 1/8" diemond platePrice Value Quality
absolutly fantastic.
The weldind cart would not allow me to open the door , so I modified it , cart in my opinon is flimzey,so bracing it was a must.
Both Mig guns , and ground cable needs to be longer, a little on the short side.
make it carry 2 tanks one for pure argon and one for CO2/ Argon mix.
