A precision pulling tool for use with our stud welders and others with 1"-OD grounding ring. Just seat the stud welder in the Dent Killer, bring grounding rods into surface contact and trigger your stud welding gun for 0.5 to 1 second to attach the reusable "stud". Raise metal with the attached 3:1 lever for exactly the right amount of pull to achieve a level surface. Nylon faced 5-1/2"-long support legs adjust from 3" to 7" to span damage & styling lines. Rotate the tool to release the stud. Great for use along creases or in areas without enough overhead clearance to use a sliding hammer. Imported.

Well, sorry to say I'm returning it for a refund. The unit is a bit clunky, but otherwise well made. (Canadian product eh?) It worked great for about the first three welds/pulls, then the tip fouled. Called Manufacturer in Ontario, was very nice man that gave what I thought was excellent help, but after dressing the tip several times, making sure everything was perfectly clean, power source correct, etc. I had a lot of trouble with the tip, which I dont mind dressing up, but the tips, which I was told is a special steel cost 25.00 for a pack of four. Way too pricey for them, when they dont last. Regular studs and pullers are the WAY to go. This puller is not designed to be used with Eastwood's Blue stud welder I was told by Manufacturer, because of poor contact between the blue welder's tip and the Dent Killer's socket. Oh well, better luck next time!
