About Eastwood Internal Frame Coating w/Spray Nozzle

Use our Internal Frame Coating to make your chassis rust-free throughout! Tough phenolic resin penetrates, converts and encapsulates the rust on the internal surface, and zinc phosphate seals it to prevent future corrosion. Penetrates under the heaviest surface rust. If not treated, the metal surface will continue to rust and begin to show as paint flaking, pin holes or even worse—structural frame failure.

14-oz. aerosol can includes an 24"-long extension tube with conical nozzle that reaches in to apply the coating in a radial spray pattern for complete coverage. Insert into bolt holes, lightening holes and any open access area in the frame. Spray using a back or forth motion to cover entire internal frame area. Two 14-oz. aerosol cans are required for a subframe vehicle, 3 cans for a full-frame vehicle or truck. Fully cures in 24 hours. Made in the USA.

This is a good product, wish it was a little more reasonable as have other areas would like to use it.

But for the important parts you can't get into to protect, and with the value of the vehicle, this is the way to go.

went on very smooth. I love the coverage. I did the tunnel of an air-cooled VW Beetle and it took every bit of 2 cans for a solid coat. Ask me again in 10 years about doing what it is intended to do.

First Time using the product lays down really well except fpr wand ? either making it siffer at the end or machine a fan type spayer iinto the nozzle so you can get better coverage time will tell how good it lasts little messey but manageable

While restoring the under carriage of 2003 f-350 long bed.,I used Internal Frame to coat my bed cross members, front of frame rails that were closed in closed in assess ports under main cab and everywhere else I could not get full access to. Wonderful coverage, professional grade product. Definitely use respirator and cover yourself well, this stuff doesn't come off easily. Expensive and it goes faaaaast but worth it if you want to do your project right the first time. Would definitely recommend. I'm a bit of a fanatic and went full tilt on this truck. I used air scallers pics, scrappers sanding and grinding wheels and anything eles I could get my hands on to eliminate any exfoliated type rust that was prevalent under entire truck used 4 cans of PRE first 8- 16oz cans, 7 Rust converters, 6 extreme chassis primers, 6 extreme chassis black top coat paint but I didn't want to have to think about it ever again, I wanted to be able to park this truck in salt water. And in the long run it was cheap ins considering what new f-350's cost. I will have around 100 hours and $850 bucks of Eastwood product under this unit. It will be UNMATCHED by anyones standards and much better that new. If your going to do something. Dont be cheap, do it right the first time. I'm to poor to have to do it twice :-) Good luck to all. and Thank you Eastwood. Your the best out there

I could echo most of what's been written here. It appears to be a very good product (time will tell), messy application so cover the holes and lay down newspaper, will need to overspray with black if you don't like the green showing and it covers very well. Be advised that the paint is thin so it runs. When doing the frame over the rear wheels, don't be under it! :)

The "BUT" comes in two areas. First the estimates on quantity are off. I have a '73 Corvette and it will take all of four cans. Also if you're not doing a frame off at the time of use, you will need to spray through most of the holes for good coverage. The second is the price which most of the reviews ding. It would be nice to get a quantity discount so that 4+ cans would be $12-15 each.

I think this is a good product, and time will tell. If keeping your shop clean is a must you better plug each hole you dont want to use with tape, and also any ends of the frame cause this stuff flys out all over. Outside would be best, but inside you need a lot of protection , cause it does do it's job.

we got this in at our shop to do our fleet plow trucks. they are 90's chevy PU and to do the insides of the front of the frames where the sandblaster doesnt go because of the enclosed box front ends this does work impressivly well. also coats seams on the body where rust is bubbling around the factory seam sealer. time will tell as far as corrosion prevention, but for a no prep spray.... its cool stuff!

I have a 1999 Pathfinder that had some rust starting on the unibody frame. in an effort to make the car last another 200k miles, I bought the inner frame coating to try and prevent any further rust. With the hose attached to the nozzle now (I had heard people had problems with the first setup) I had no problems at all. it was easy to snake the tube into the drain holes and pump a lot of coating onto places that would otherwise be uncoatable. time will tell how well of a job it does keeping the rust at bay, but as far as application goes it is a very slick setup. I wish it was a little cheaper, but if it does keep the rust out it is WELL worth the cost. plan on ordering some more to do a second application on some tough looking areas, and I plan to use it on the inner parts of the hood as well! Thanks!
