About Eastwood Internal Frame Coating w/Spray Nozzle
Use our Internal Frame Coating to make your chassis rust-free throughout! Tough phenolic resin penetrates, converts and encapsulates the rust on the internal surface, and zinc phosphate seals it to prevent future corrosion. Penetrates under the heaviest surface rust. If not treated, the metal surface will continue to rust and begin to show as paint flaking, pin holes or even worse—structural frame failure.
14-oz. aerosol can includes an 24"-long extension tube with conical nozzle that reaches in to apply the coating in a radial spray pattern for complete coverage. Insert into bolt holes, lightening holes and any open access area in the frame. Spray using a back or forth motion to cover entire internal frame area. Two 14-oz. aerosol cans are required for a subframe vehicle, 3 cans for a full-frame vehicle or truck. Fully cures in 24 hours. Made in the USA.
Due to regulations pertaining to paint recycling, at this time we are unable to ship this product to Alberta, Canada.

Great for Rustproofing Rocker panels on Pickups!!
(Posted on 11/10/12)
Review by Justin S -
Used it to keep the rockers from rusting out on my Silverado. The salt they use seems to eat them up on the other trucks I have seen, The 2ft tube works great to get into the long extended cab rockers! Just don't lay under the truck while doing it! It leaks out of the water holes onto you, Ask me how I know!Quality Price Value -
Not bad

I do recommend this product. make sure you plug up open holes in the frame or tape them up, and if you dont want it to get on the floor i recommend putting some kind of drop cloth down. I used 4 cans on my 88 dodge raider frame, could of used 2 more. No way would 2 cans do a frame properly. I wish the price was a little cheaper though!Quality Price Value -
Good when on sale

Liked the idea of this product, but found $20 + $5 shipping to be a bit steep. Checked back periodically until it went on sale for $15 and signed up for emails to get free ship on order. One can coated interior of frame horns and rocker panels on my subcompact. Applied easily. Spray nozzle works well. Covered ground to avoid leakage stain. Odor in car went away after 3-4 days. I'll give it a few years and see how well it stops rust.Price Value Quality -

Just used this product last weekend. Worked as promised. Drilled access holes to a boxed section of my car body, taped tube to a steel rod, and fed tube/rod deep into car body cavity. Sprayed out great through tube with spray end fitting. Thickens rapidly and only dripped out a bit. Flashlight shows great coverage. Very happy with product.Price Value Quality -
Chevy stepside sealing areas from rusting

Review by Smitty -
This is a great product I have used many cans on all panels where it is impossible to get to like cab corners, rockers, frame, doors seams and in between fender walls. Some tips are - remove the tube and nozzle after spraying and soak in a container of lacquer thinner I'm still using the first tube, another is insert a long piece of MIG wire inside the tube and you will be able to direct the tube easier, the can end is easy to remove. One last thing mark the tube as to eliminate spraying allover as you remove the tube! Great product atomizes the spray soaks in like water drys quickly, but only time will yield the results!Quality Price Value -

Overall, I was happy with the Internal Frame Coating. It seemed to stick well and cut through the embedded dirt on the surface on the internal frame portions I used it on (as much as I could tell anyway) I would say to watch out, as this stuff is very (almost too) runny. If you are underneath the car trying to do this, you will get it all over you. It was a little pricey though. I would like to see them lower this $15.99. It would seem more of a value then- Just my opinion.Price Value Quality -
Good product but doesn't cover much area

Review by Matt B -
This stuff seems to stick very well to rusted area and the nozzle works as described. I expect that the reults will last a very long time. My only complaint is that you do have to use a good amount to get full coverage and therefore the can does not last very long. Great product but one can won't get you far.Price Value Quality -
Good stuff/bad mess after

Review by Donny -
This stuff appears to work great. Only problem though is its pretty watery (thin) and gets all over the place. I had just as much on my hands as I did on the frame LOL. I highly recommend painters gloves.Quality Price Value -
pretty slick

Review by 69 Stingray -
This stuff was pretty easy to apply. As others have mentioned, make sure to mask off all holes not being used to insert the tube. Otherwise, you'll have the green paint all over your driveway/garage floor. Just used it today so I can't speak to the longevity of the product. I'll check back in a year to let you know how it performs.Price Value Quality -

This is a great product and easy to use. I did 1 car with it to experiment with and bought more to do a 2nd car. very easy to use and 1 can went a long way. would definitely buy again . The price has gone up 2 dollars a can since I started but it is still a good deal. You will be amazed at the ease of application.Quality Price Value
