You can remove all vinyl pin-striping, graphics, and adhesive residue without damaging the paint. Simply mount the eraser in your air drill (recommended speed is 3,500 to 4,000 rpm.) and safely remove all the old body striping in minutes. Unlike chemicals and solvents commonly used for this job, the soft wheel is gentle to the finish. Not recommended for acrylic lacquer or Plexiglas.

I bought an 86 Ford Ranger pickup, and it had once had a chrome strip dividing the two colors. The chrome strip was long gone, but the glue wass still there. I saw one of these work one time, and ordered two to clean off the glue residue. The truck had sat outside for years, and the adhesive had turned hard, and the erasers wouldn't touch it, so I cut a 45 degree angle on a scrap of Oak 1x2, and used it like a chisel to remove the top surface of the adhesive, and then the erasers worked to remove the last bit. After a wet coat of Goo-Gone, to soften the remaining adhesive, the erasers worked as advertised. I'm sure if the adhesive was fresher, the job would go easier, but the stuff has been there for nearly 40 years, so a bit of innovation was required. Once cleaned, a 1" tape stripe will divide the colors nicely.

Taking off old decals from RV but had some burn thru of painted areas. Since ultimately there areas are going to be repainted any way it's not a big problem, just unexpected. Makes short work of the decals.

Great product I was skeptical at first so I bought it to remove 25 yr old pinstriping on my boat it saved me hrs , you have to use just your corded drill not to FAST take your time and feel it out first then you can be off and running i found it easier to go against the lines with an up and down motion not side to side worked better for me anyway have some goo gone with you and a Must have air hose to blow the residue off It makes it much easier.

Ordered this to remove the production numbers on the front bumper on my Saleen. Carefully read the directions and the next thing I know I have burnt through my paint and into the bumper cover. It must have generated too much heat. I was very surprised because I wasn't putting much pressure on it. Watch out. This $15 part will cost me $300 to $500 to fix the damage!

Ordered this product to remove the left over double sided tape from the molding on my 88 chevy pickup. It worked great i was very happy with the product. Didn't damage the body and didn't even tear any of the garbage Chevy paint off. Note that when it gets down really small there is metal in it that can damage the body if your not carefull. I did wish it would've lasted longer; I only finished one side of my truck so I'm going to have to buy another one, but well worth the money.

I bought this to remove the stripes on my 30 year old boat. It works fast and does a very good job. A respirator is needed beacuse of the small particles it produces. This is excellent for occasional use. Well worth the money.
