This specially formulated rust remover is a powerful, rust-fighting liquid created to meet the needs of auto restorers. It reaches even inaccessible areas, quickly dissolving iron oxide completely and leaving a zinc phosphate coating. Fast Etch can be sprayed, brushed, or used as a parts dip. It is non-toxic, non-flammable and reusable. This is not a primer. Treated surfaces should be wiped with PRE Painting Prep (10041 Z) or thinner before priming and painting.

PRE Self Etching primer
There is a minimal risk of Hydrogen embrittlement when using this rust remover. Bake de-rusted parts at 400 degrees F. for 3 hours if the minimal amount of hydrogen embrittlement is a concern. This rust remover works as a great alternative to abrasive blasting for rust removal.

I`ve used this product,but in a different way and found it works better if you give it more time to work.I was skeptical at first but I tried and it works.Eastwood has a winner here.I`ll be buying more products in the near future.Price Value Quality -

This product is great. You do need to try and do it out of direct sunlight, you don't have to use as much. I had a hard time getting the panel clean, I had to use soap and water then use the rubbing alcohol to finally get it feeling clean.Price Value Quality -

The product worked as it was advertised and as yet, no rust has returned. I was skeptical since I didn't see any phosphoric acid in it. I don't know the chemistry but I am happy and intend to use it some more.Price Value Quality
