About 7 Inch Cleaning / Stripping Disc System

Use the stripping disc on rust and paint to get a less-aggressive, 320-grit finish. The cleaning disc is more aggressive and leaves an 80-grit finish on metal. For all discs, the maximum speed is 6,000 rpm.

I think you should reverse the names of the pads.The cleaning disc does a better job stripping the paint and rust and the stripping disc cleans up the residue and leaves a really clean finish surface.Very little friction from the pads so there is very little heat so there is no damage to the surface being preped.Only draw back is the weight of my older heavy duty Black and Decker heavy duty grinder/polisher,it wears you out.I understand Black and decker and Dewalt are now together and the Dewalt Eastwood advertises looks exactly the same but its yellow.Well worth trying the system since its the best system I have tried.I have bought more pads

I restore old cars (pre 1955) and build hot rods. Dealing with rust and dents are part of the process. Eastwood has everything you need to take your car from a rust bucket to a show car. Your talent is also needed. I have found their products to be pricy but high quality. No junk hear. Their techs are knowledgeable and willing to assist you with any project. I highly recomend Eastwood.

This is a great stripper that last extensive abuse. I would recommend for anyone that wants to strip paint from metal without damaging the metal or using hard chemicals.

i bought this product to scrape off some gunk and residue on my engine bay, tranny, rear end, leaf springs etc. it preforms amazingly and strips off stuff better than a wire wheel attatched to a grinder. the only drawback i can see is its size. it is a little difficult to get in nooks and cranny's but if your looking for flat work i doubt you will find something that will beat this.

If you want to strip paint, filler, and/or rust to bare metal without damage to the metal, this system is it! The black disc hogs paint off fast and the disc lasts. I did a truck lid, rear quarter, and half a floor with one disc in twenty minutes of work time. I would have used a bunch of DA paper and hours of time to have accomplished the same work with a DA.
