Eastwood-engineered 200-amp TIG Welder offers affordable, professional-quality TIG welding on aluminum, stainless or steel (sheet, tube or bar stock), and precise welding of thinner-gauge materials up to 3/16" thick.

About Eastwood TIG Welder 200 Amp AC/DC
Eastwood TIG200 200AMP welder features an AC/DC switch that allows both steels and aluminum to be welded with the same machine. With a 14' torch and a 10' ground cable, you'll be able to get into any space with this exceptional machine. It has pre- and post-flow adjustment knobs to protect your weld and torch. It even has a foot pedal to control amperage so you can get going quickly, without the need to dial-in the machine for a specific material. Powered through a NEMA50 plug.
Automatically switches from 110v to 220v depending on input. Infinitely adjustable foot pedal and amperage control allow accurate aluminum welding, and adjustable pre- and post-gas flow results in proper arc starting, stabilization and bead cool-down. Thumb control overrides the foot pedal for out-of-position welding, or when bench welding is not an option. This TIG 200 Welder is backed by Eastwood's no-hassle 3-year warranty. Great for the hobbiest

I bought this welder as a package deal over a year ago. Have used it for steel, stainless and aluminum of all different thickness. Using the 110v and 220v. Never had a problem. Always worked great. I have used bigger more expensive units, but for my personnel use, classic cars and other things, this was the perfect size, price, and the minimum needed adjustments.Value Quality Price -

After taking everything out of the box, I checked for any damages,none was found. packaging of the product was outstanding. proceeded to set the machine for welding,set was very easy. First weld I did was on some aluminum,1/8 " thick , welds came out very nice and very happy with the machine. I'll be trying it on stainless next and I,m sure the welds will turn out just as good as the aluminum. I would recommend the machine to other people looking for a Tig Welder.Price Value Quality -

Only welded 1/8th an steel frame for my beer cooler but it worked great. No issues. I'm satisfied with it. There are a few things I would change to improve the quality, but for the price it is a good value. I'm just a hobbiest using it in my garage. I would recommend this unit.Price Value Quality -

Worked for about 6 passes and then wouldn't arc from foot pedal or torch handle. It will scratch start so at least I can still use it. Talked to Sean in Customer service about a week ago and was told a new foot pedal and torch would be shipped. Still haven't seen them, and I doubt that is the problem. If I ever get it to work correctly I'll probably sale it and take a loss. Buy a Hobart, Miller, or Lincoln.Price Value Quality -

Just got this bad boy today, set it up and started practicing. I have used several TIGs, and this was one of the easiest to set up and start using. The "welding mask" they give you is a joke, but what are you gonna do?Price Value Quality
fired up right away. I started welding on some 1/4 inch plate and it's perfect. The price is great, shipping was fast and the machine works good. The two issues I have are...How am I supposed to hold a torch and a filler rod while also holding a welding mask??, and Why do I get3 cups and 3 collets, but only one tungsten? Can't complain toomuch though and I am absolutely happy with it! -

Right out of the box and went to work. Welded up a set of handle bats for a chopper project. 1" d.o.m. Tubing with 1/8" wall thickness. Welded flawlessly !Price Value Quality
I gave not tried aluminum yet but, based on what I've done so far I believe in this machine.
Much to my surprise everything I needed was provided with the exception of argon & welding rods. Tungsten, tips, collets, & the chart on the welding machine is a great reference guide. -

I have been using this welder for about 4 months now and It has done what I need with no issues or troubles. Sure you can pay a lot more and get all the bells and whistles but for the home enthusiast this is more than enough. I had narrowed my search down to this 200 amp tig and that of the same model sold by Longevity Welders. Even though longevity offered me a better deal on there model and and spaying it was the same factory I declined there offer in favour of going with a company I know will stand behind there product. Buying from Eastwood was a no brainier for meQuality Price Value
