About Battery Tender Jr 12V

Microprocessor is programmed to correctly charge your battery, then automatically switch to a maintenance/float mode. Operating on the same principle as the original Battery Tender, our economy "Junior" plugs right into the outlet with its 12' cord to easily reach your vehicle. Includes alligator clips and ring connectors. Great for ATVs, bikes or in any tight spot. It will maintain a 100% charge constantly, without damaging the battery. Spark-free and temperature-compensated, with short circuit and reverse polarity protection. Output is 0.75 amps.

3-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

The Battery Tender Jr. includes the charger, 12' power cord, alligator clips, ring connectors, and complete instructions.

Case temperature may reach 130 degreesF at low-battery charge levels.

The are good but overpriced I have a Battery mantainer from schumacher 1.5 amp and works perfect I paid 20 dollars for it , and comes with quick connections !!

I bought one of these 3 years ago for my yard tractor and it has proved to be a good investment, I hook it up during long periods when it's not being used and I 've not had to worry about the battery being dead. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a trouble free way to keep a battery charged and ready when they need it.

2nd one of these I've purchsed( this was was a gift to my nephew while his bike is stored when he goes over seas).
As good as the next expensive model, maintians charge, is convenient and reliable.
Cheaper than a new battery, well worth the price.

These units differentiate themselves from units half the price in the quality of the case, leads, and the permanent leads with the connector. Other cheaper units have the same logic, cheaper cases, no connector to move between permanent and clip on leads. More expensive products claim to "desulpher" the plates, but given the limited life span of a lead acid battery, why spend the extra money? This is a well packaged product that I can expect to last a long time. It can survive being stepped on (oops) and will outlast the less expensive units I referenced.

I have several vehicles I store over the winter and have had great success saving batteries since I began using Battery Tender products. The Battery Tender Jr is a must have. It works great, portable enough to fit in the glove box, and has not failed me yet!
