Prepped polished part as per instructions. Disappointed in finish after spraying. Was a satin finish. Disappointed because not able to protect a polished surface the way I wanted. I was using the spray on aluminum valve covers.Quality Price Value -

this stuff is great, I purchased a new gas tank for my 68 RS/SS Camaro and wanted to keep the nature zink finish but didn`t want to paint it a color. This product was exactly what I was looking for, left me a great finish and protection without losing the natural finish of my gas tank.Price Value Quality -

I like this coating for bare metal. I used it on a new intake manifold to preserve the finish. It went on easy and smooth, and seems very durable.Price Value Quality -
Not for bare aluminum bike covers

Tried to use on Suzuki GT550 engine covers after polishing. Parts cleaned as per instructions. Coating went on with a satin finish, not high gloss. After drying for more than a day, the fiinish flaked off, which worked out not too badly, since removal wasn't too difficult. Solution has been to re-polish and just use some good wax. Product was very disappointing. I use duplicolor laquers all the time, so am not new to rattle can paints. Very disappointing.Price Value Quality -
Eliminates polishing billet

Review by Steve -
I was looking for a way to keep from polishing my Zoop's billet brackets without the extra cost of chrome plating. I hate polishing billet aluminum. I bought this as an experiment. I cleaned the billet with prep solvent and sprayed on two light coats. I was amazed, the stuff dries super fast. You can't tell that there is even a clear coat on the billet. All my friends think that I had the brackets chrome plated. Absolutely amazing. I purchased all the other Eastwood clears. Great products!!!!!Quality Price Value
