The disc leaves a very smooth finish. It strips well on smooth surfaces. I used it on a firewall and it stripped it down in less than an hour. It removed all the surface rust and paint down to bare metal. For the price I wished it had lasted longer.

These little plastic gems are pretty impressive given how they fee on initial evaluation. I bought one as a trial as I'm stripping a Datsun Roadster to bare metal and repairing all the rust and rot... As skeptical as I was, I was equally impressed with the speed and quality of the strip job these little items performed. They ate rust, paint and body filler without slowing to digest. I liked them so much, I ordered another pair. Which brings me to the only (2) bad notes on these items. 1: the wear of these items. I know they wear to salvage the metal underneath. A sacrifice to salvage your project, but it does happen. When it does it can be spectacular. Little shards of plastic bristles flake off in various directions. and... 2: The cost to replace these items. $30 per brush?!? If these set you back $20 per, I'd be singing the praises to EVERYONE who would listen. They are awesome but that awesomeness comes with a price tag and $30 is it. That said, I will cont to use these as the performance they offer is... awesome.

Restoring a 70 big block Camaro, removing all interior and exterior paint and have used a wide variety of tools, wire cups, sand blasting, etc. this is by far the best, produces very little heat, in comparison, no wires flying off, lasts longer than HF brushes, overall, highly recommended, also using a couple of smaller ones I got from Amazon for my mini air grinder, also work well..

I used this on my 70 Camaro frame to strip what remained after using a chemical paint remover. This product works exactly as advertised. I admit that I wore the product out in several hours but considering the quality of the job this short life can be expected. I just ordered another one to strip the firewall. Money well spent for a job well done.

Got this Bristle Disc to strip 3 layers of paint on my 66 mustang. It worked a heck of a lot better than using a DA and sanding pad, that's for sure! Using this bristle disc I was able to sand off 3/4 of the roof in about 45 minutes! At 45 minutes, the bristle disc was completely dull and that's where I was disappointed! You pay 30 bucks for this product and it doesn't even last you an hour... Very pricey but its worth it to me so I will buy more to finish off the rest of the car...

Removing all paint from '72 Camaro; primer, orig. paint, some epoxy where repaired, and re-paint. Quicker and safer than chemical, safer than wire bristle, better than sandpaper, leaves nice finish. Have used 3 already, and will continue with them. Nice product.

This thing worked great! It was a little slow going with the original paint but it blasted through the repaint job on the car fast. It lasted a lot longer than I had expected since its plastic but it was nice not having wires fly off. It was also faster than wire wheels.

Works great on hard dry paint and rust, soft paints like old laquer or some epoxy type paints work a little slower but will eventually remove it. Will definaitly save on sand paper and cleans tight and lumpy areas well, and it wont shred if it hangs up on an edge or a bolt or screw.
