About Rigid Plastic Repair Kit Clear
The Plastex Plastic Repair Kit makes strong, permanent repairs to almost any hard plastic (and many other materials). It's easy, safe, and cures in minutes! Mix the powder and solvent to repair cracks, fill gaps, 'weld' panels or fix stripped threads. The kit includes a reuseable 'molding bar' so you can replicate and attach broken tabs, patch holes-even make small parts. Plastex can be used on ABS, poly-carbonate, acrylic, styrol, PVC, FRP (polyester),glass metal, wood & fiberglass. (Won't adhere to polypropylene or polyethylene).
The Plastifix Kit includes 30 grams of powder, 50 ml of Plastifix liquid, a bar of molding material, dropper, mixing hardware and complete instructions.
Not for use on Polypropylene or Polyetheylene. Of the 3 different Plastifix kits we sell, black is the strongest, white is the second strongest, Clear is the weakest but works well for lens repair.

works but not easy

Value Quality Price It works but n ot as easy as the dvd. The dropper is very poor quality so it makes use difficult. After one use it was very clogged and I have to throw it out. The mold bar was not as easy to use as the video seemed to make it either. However with that said when it does set up it is really impressive how strong it is. It files easily. So for 30 dollars it more than paid for itself repairing the tab on my camaro dashboard. Doing larger parts is going to be difficult with the dit provided. It may just take more practice on my part too.
