Stop using needlenose pliers and a screwdriver to remove nylon push pins!. I really only needed a tool to remove christmas tree style nylon push pins from a pre-formed fabric trunk liner. Only requirement, other than actually removing the pin, was to not ruin the liner. This tool did NOT ruin the liner. This tool does that and I found it to be handy elsewhere in my projects!

Sure, there are cheaper versions out there, and I had reservations about the slightly higher price not matching the quality. But this tool was quality made, did not seem flimsy at all.

It was easy to use one-handed once you got the hang of it. There's no christmas tree push pins that can beat this tool and it doesn't destroy the pins if used correctly. I know push pins are cheap, but you can save a lot of money on clips over time where it will pay for itself if you do a lot of this type of work.

Only way to make this better is if it had some nylon "sleeves" to go on the lower forks that rest against painted metal door panels in some applications. I wrapped the forks in electrical tape to prevent scratching, but it would be nice to have the sleeves. Makes door panel removal a breeze. If you use it only for trunk/hood pad pin removal, no need for wrapping though. I don't know why I hadn't bought one of these earlier. Saves a lot of time and a lot of pins and doesn't damage pads or plastic panels.
