About 21" Adjustable Flexible Sander

Straight, smooth, ripple-free finishes start with perfectly straight bodywork and accurate block sanding. This 21"-long flexible sander "block" bends to match the body's contour to virtually eliminate flat spots and assure a uniform surface. Remove any of the 3 steel rods inside the urethane foam body to adjust the flexibility of the sander.

Great for sanding curved surfaces like hoods, roofs and fenders on earlier cars. Sand body panels from flat to curved. Sander is extremely flexible without rods. As the number of rods increases, so does the stiffness of the sander.

I've got 2 of the flexible sanders. This 21 inch and a shorter one. Keep in mind where you will be using it. I find I'm using the shorter one most of the time, but on those real long large curved panels the 21 is the only way to fly.

we are currently using this product to sandthe roof of a 1969 Olds 442 Cutlass and a 1969 Dodge Charger RT. this product helps greatly as far as reach and consistancy of pressure on the sirfaces it isused on as well as the flexibility by adding and removing the metal spines installed in its back.
