The tool worked perfectly. I did have cut 2" off the threaded end for my application but worked fine and I would not have been able to get the front springs back in without it.

found that the tool worked better going through the top shock mount and using only one jaw, the one with the threads, to use the jaw one must feed the jaw from the bottom of the coil after the shock is out..
