150cc Metal Cup for concours Detail w/ Teflon
Product Review (submitted on November 26, 2011):
These cups are Teflon coated on the inside. They are very well made, but the Teflon coating on my first cup flaked off where the top screws into the cup. Tiny bits of Teflon contaminated my nitrocellulose lacquer and got into my finish coat. I caught it early and switched cups back to the plastic (acetyl) cup that came on the gun. Eastwood sent me a second cup, and it's doing the same thing. I think it's too much to expect the Teflon not to flake off in the area of the screw threads. At this point I would suggest not using the metal cup for clear finishes when using this great little detail gun. The gun itself, which comes with the acetyl cup, is really really very good for the price. I intend to get another acetyl cup just to have two separate cups; one for water base and one for solvent base finishes.
