As others have suggested, this has a very 'matte' slightly rough texture to it. The silver flake sticks to EVERYTHING in sight as another mentioned as well.... Definitely do a couple of test pieces and plan to use a clear coat over it to get the gloss/smooth finish you're probably looking for.
Has more of a translucent finish to it if only using a single coat and if whatever you're coating isn't already silver an argent silver base coat would be a very good idea!
