Right out of the box and went to work. Welded up a set of handle bats for a chopper project. 1" d.o.m. Tubing with 1/8" wall thickness. Welded flawlessly !
I gave not tried aluminum yet but, based on what I've done so far I believe in this machine.
Much to my surprise everything I needed was provided with the exception of argon & welding rods. Tungsten, tips, collets, & the chart on the welding machine is a great reference guide.
