Eastwood 43-Piece Bit and Socket Set
Product Review (submitted on May 10, 2013):
This tool set would be a lifesaver to carry in your car, or truck. My initial impression was very good. All the sockets seemed adequate along with the bits, and drive extension. Once again, these are on a par with the Gear Wrench brand, but I haven't seen this particular configuration from them. The swivels on both ends of the main ratchet improve the versatility of the tool. The ratchet switch is on the smallish-side, and a little hard to engage. Also there is no snap-ring to remove for access to the pawl mechanism, as this is sealed. The ratchet gear seemed a little gritty out-of-the-box, but loosened up nicely after applying some Liquid Wrench Dry Lube. My only complaint would be, that I wish this set would have come in a nice plastic box like the 1/4" offset screwdriver kit, or a blow-molded case. I guess this was meant to cut the price down a few extra bucks. There's hundreds of uses for this set: change battery cables, swap license plates, access an air filter housing, removing trim screws, and under the dash access. Plus you get Eastwood's warranty. This should be a nice addition to your toolbox.
