Fill Holes in Sheet Metal Without Burn-Through - The soft annealed copper paddle tapers down from 2-1/2" over its 7 1/4" length. Readily formed to match most contours this copper plate is clamped onto the metal and then welded from the other side. Weld deposited metal will not stick to the copper while the copper absorbs heat and prevents burn through.
