Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not recommend So I took my nozzle off and the Spot Weld Nozzle went on smooth. Problem was that it kept going. Since it never got snug, I decided to take it off. The nozzle came off, but the core with the threads stayed on my welder. Not sure what to do with it since I can't weld the core in place and nothing comes to mind of some sort of an epoxy that can handle the temperature the nozzle reaches. If you are able to weld, you shouldn't waste your money. I just thought it would be convenient and may even put down a slightly cleaner weld for a less grinding on bigger jobs where I have a couple dozen or so welds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good I put this to the test, it works very good under perfect condition, clean medal, good ground, Lincoln 180 220v, the medal has to have a tight fit, meaning clamped together, it is not forgiving will not weld the slightest gap they recommend a set of pliers for spot welding, but in the real world we are not always welding an inch wide strip of medal and for us body guys never, however I did punch holes in a piece and use it as a plug weld and it did very well,, would I recommend this product, YES, it does what it says it will do, we’ll see more when I’m tryin to spot weld my floor broads in, I’m giving this a B+ so far

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This works very well This kit allows you to run a very consistent set of plug welds. I would essentially set the welder up for your metal, then line up the tip, and pull the trigger for about a the count of three. Nice clean welds with good penetration.

Hi I have the older Lincoln weldpak 100 mig welder, will this work for me, I do not know how to tell if it is a tweco style torch head? Thank you for your time

Asked by: ronjw114
You will need a tweco 21 series nozzle for this to fit on your torch.

Will this work with flux core wire as well?

Asked by: Guardm
It works great, but experiment with duration of burn! Too bad I figured this out after I purchased a MIG to deal with the heat issue, though the MIG allows a variable range of power choice.

When using the spot weld nozzle with the eastwood 135 mig, welding 16ga. , what power, gas, and wire speed settings would be best?

Asked by: Smokeatr23
It would be best to start with the settings for the machine and then tweak to how you weld.

Does this nozzle fit the tweco fusion 180 might gun. Hot max nozzle does not fit.

Asked by: Ga49945
We have never tested with that exact torch. We do know it fits most thread on Tweco style torches.

Can this be used to make welds when doing stitch welds on a patch panel

Asked by: Ultpainter
This tool will be the best way to make a stitch weld since you cannot see exactly where the weld is at.
