Details
A reduction diode lets you use A/C arc welders that can be set to 80 amps or less. The diode reduces output by half, so sheet metal as thin as 22 gauge can be safely welded. All circuits have a 100% duty cycle. Welding with the Stitch Welder is faster and easier than with conventional stick welding. The arc is self-starting so there is less chance of sticking. Once you strike the arc,lay the rod on the metal and let the machine do the work. The resulting bead is smooth and even, the slag comes off in large pieces. After some practice you'll produce welds requiring little grinding. Welding rods not included.

Not for use with Wire Feed or MIG type welders. Not as easy to use as a MIG but with practice the Stitch Welder can weld metal as thin as 22 gauge without burning through.
