If you do frequent body repair work, this expert system makes it easy to fix most dents—even "pull" creases—weld trim rivets, and shrink metal, and the robust 2,000-amp stud welder gun gives you the power to get it done fast. (A) No, standard 110v will work.
(Q) Do I need a welding mask when using this?
(A) It’s not necessary, but don’t look directly into the momentary flash.
(Q) How do I get the pins off after they’ve been welded onto the surface?
(A) After you’ve made your pulls, simply snip or grind the pins off.

Great tool at a great price

Price Value Quality I bought this stud welder to pull some dents on a Porsche 356. It works great. It comes with Magna wire that enables you to pull a crease, it really works. Eastwood does not sell the J20037 5-Finger Magna Claw that I bought elsewhere. I am not a professional but like to use quality tools and I think this is one that is worth the money.

Price Value Quality I recently purchased the Super Pro Plus Stud Welder and have been throughly pleased with it's performance. It works great in areas where you have double wall metal. I used mine on the doors near the edge where there was no way to use a hammer and dolly. The stud welder did and excellent job of helping me bring the metal back out flush with the body. I would recommend this product to both professionals and hobbyists.
