After 70+ years, the EPA mandated that all domestic motor oil producers remove ZDDP (Zinc Dialkyl Dithio Phosphate) from all conventional and synthetic motor oil. If your engine was designed before 1989, the non-roller lifters still require ZDDP to avoid premature deterioration. Our ZDDP Plus Oil Additive puts back what your pre-1989 engine needs!

Seems To Work
Review by Coooper -
Quality Price Value Who knows if I need this. But I do use it. I just purchased a 1982 Dodge truck and this is a small price to pay compared to engine damage. Who knows if there was ZDDP in the oil over the past 30 years of this truck.

Must have stuff
Review by Stardust -
Value Quality Price I have a 1965 Mustang Fastback, a 80' 1976 Stardust Cruiser Houseboat and an old RIB tender boat and without ZDDP I would need to start thinking about replacing three engines! This is a must have for early engines or very cheep insurance.
